Planner I

Stephanie joined Topology in April 2025 and has had the opportunity to assist on various GIS projects, Preliminary Investigation Reports, and land use applications.

Notable projects Stephanie has worked on include the Hoboken Hospital Preliminary Investigation Report, Orchard Plaza Preliminary Investigation Report, GIS mapping for affordable housing projects, and public engagement for the Cranford Open Space and Recreation Master Plan Element. Stephanie brings prior experience as a GIS Analyst and Environmental Planner.

At the start of her career, she administered the Farmland Preservation Program and Open Space Natural Lands Trust Fund for Ocean County, NJ, where she managed the preservation of over 8,000 acres of farmland and open space for the County. Additionally, Stephanie has developed her GIS skills throughout her career across various software applications and has experience in utility and land use mapping. Stephanie recently received a certificate from NJPO for the Basic Course in Land Use Law and Planning. 

Stephanie graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in December 2016, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Geographical and Geological Sciences with a focus in Geography and Planning. After working for three years as a Planner for Ocean County, she achieved a life goal of living and working in another country by teaching English as a Second Language in Prague. Here she developed a better understanding of urban environments and experienced the benefits and challenges of living in a foreign country. Upon her return to the US, Stephanie went back to school in 2022 to pursue a GIS Certificate from Michigan State University to further her expertise in GIS programs. Stephanie is an active learner and is passionate about developing smart and sustainable communities that will serve NJ residents for years to come.
