Growing up in New York City, Julian has always been aware of the importance of vibrant, walkable spaces and carries this sensibility with him in his career as a planner. He works to create more livable places through effective and wholistic land use implementation, where his work focuses on land use applications, zoning, and zoning officer administration.
Julian graduated from Vassar College in 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies with Honors, alongside a minor in Spanish. Understanding the need to learn and work in multiple languages – both linguistically and technologically, Julian studied abroad at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and further supplemented his education with a Fundamentals of GIS Coursera course from the University of California – Davis.
