Emma joined Topology in the fall of 2025, bringing a background in education, research, and community engagement to her work at the firm. She is a skilled writer and detail-oriented researcher who is committed to delivering high-quality results. Emma leads the firm's RFP preparations and supports land use and private testimony projects. She hopes to leverage her educational background to develop more forms of public participation in planning.
As an undergraduate at Bryn Mawr College, Emma studied how air development rights have been used as a revenue generator for public agencies, with a focus on New York City Public Schools and their public-private development partnerships. She continues to be interested in the relationship between the public and private sectors within the planning realm.
