Topology has extensive experience utilizing GIS software to organize and present complex data sets in an accessible format. Better yet, Topology employs publicly accessible data to provide cost-effective analyses at a fraction of the cost of technical field surveys and similar services. Using ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and QGIS software, our team can manipulate data to generate unique data sets, answering unique questions from the municipality and its stakeholders. Within Topology’s toolkit are site and zoning maps, aerial imagery, slope analyses, building and improved coverage calculations, walkshed analysis, and deployment of aggregated parcel data to inform zoning policy.

GIS capabilities are not simply for data analysis but are also an effective public-facing tool, providing residents and stakeholders transparent and easy access to municipal resources. Topology has created interactive, data driven zoning maps for Topology's client communities across the State, including Millburn and Cranford, the latter of which features a FEMA layer that now allows residents to view flood information in conjunction with their property’s location.
